I guess Pro Football Focus measures purely on numbers but my thoughts after reading this were:

1. The Clemson QB benefited from having many weapons around him and an established system
2. The running game is not valued as highly
3. Martinez has the most upside and one of the 2 most likely to win the Heisman
4. AM is a natural leader and the Huskers needed more of him than just someone stepping in an established role
5. I wouldn't trade our guy for any of the others on this list.

I agree with your assessment.I think he fits our offense as good as anyone we could hope for.His and our futures look good.GBR.

The Clemson defense is veteran it gets the ball back to the offense. Clemson is a great football team however their talent level is much better than the teams they play in the ACC.
 










Love AM, but I don't disagree that Lawrence is the best true Freshman QB I've seen play this year. It's not by a wide margin and you do have to look at how good Clemson is as an overall football team, but the kid is good.

Not talking about potential, NFL future, Taint, Saint or whatever dumb ass acronym you want to hang on the kid. They're both good players. Hope they both play three years at least and get a shot at playing each other.
