FYI.....

The 18-member selection committee met in Toronto Tuesday, with former players Martin Brodeur, Martin St. Louis, Jayna Hefford and Russian Alexander Yakushev being selected.

Former player Willie O'Ree and current NHL commissioner Gary Bettman also got the call as builders.

Per Hall of Fame rules, each class can only have four former players and two builders (including a referee or linesman). The former players must have been retired for at least three seasons.
