With Reimers getting a scholarship does that mean we are probably taking only one more WR in this class (4 total counting the 3 verbals we already have)?

There could be some attrition that the staff is completely aware of, so they decided to pull the trigger now.

I'd guess no because Reimers was going to be back next season either way. Reimers earning a scholarship shouldn't change the targeted number of WRs for this year.
 

Just brainstorming...

Does putting him on scholarship now versus waiting a couple weeks/months mean that he doesn't have to pay for this semester? Perhaps the staff felt the odds of him eventually getting a scholly were so high, that they might as well help the kid out financially and put him on now.
