Purdy should be given an opportunity to play and if he happens (by some incredible miracle) to win the job then it should be his. But then, even as freshman, Kaelin and Raiola should have enough to beat out Purdy by the 3rd day in fall camp. Purdy was the best of the three last year, but the...
Thread Title has been changed here to state he’s decommitted. Not saying that I didn’t think it was going to happen…but where is this coming from? 247 and On3 still showing him as a commit and not a single post I can find on X about this happening. Inside information?
Guess Kaelin is hoping MSU wouldn't be recruiting a QB next year...or the next year? Kids are going to face competition no matter where they end up. Just because the situation appears better now doesn't mean that won't change overnight.
My thoughts exactly. We now have a 3rd person connected with recruiting/player development at Nebraska, Courtney Helom, posting something cryptic on X. I might be wrong here, but I don't see that happening for a 3* kid whose best offer appears to be Washington State.
In the midst of everything going on with McCord/Fleming/Raiola, you think Hales (and then Williams) posts about Ruggeroli? Not saying you are wrong, I would just find that to be bizarre. Talk about toying with Husker fans emotions.
I'm fine with you being a naysayer. After all these years, of having mountains of crap piled upon the fan base, that's just a good place to be. However, this isn't just rando on twitter posting rumors. Tons of legit college football sites and recruiting analysts have confirmed all this is...
In addition, it now appears there are 2 crystal ball flips to Nebraska. Apparently, Chad Simmons was out drinking with Wiltfong, too. LOL!

I'd slow your roll...just a bit. Now, I'll admit I have no premium account on any recruiting service (last week's Jordan Seaton commit is proof why I will never pay these clowns a single cent), so, what I have read is just from all the free information out there, but...I haven't read anything...
Seems there's more to the story than Wilfong "drinking."

They have had 3 decommits in the last 24 hours and 5 in the last week. The implosion is happening far sooner and faster than even I could ever have hoped for!
Obviously the losses this year (outside of the Michigan game) all hurt like hell, but calling them “losers” when there was such obvious progress in so many phases is simply idiotic. This team had 3 QB’s that would have struggled to find a starting job at well over half of the FCS schools…and...
Yeah, reviewing the stats from the OT losses over the last 7 years is bizarre. It’s not that its been one coach or on QB, etc. 4 different QB, 3 different coaching staffs. The stuff that has been happening that just seems to keep this program from turning the corner is weird!
Almost 10% of people think Haarberg should start if healthy? That kid shouldn't be under center ever again, regardless of the circumstances. There's no upside potential there. I'd rather see the football team hold open tryouts for students before having to watch Haarberg ever again.
Disgusting performance. The offense is laughably bad and failed the defense yet again. I'm really trying to hold back what I want to say. I'm sick to my stomach watching what I just put myself through.
Sitting here watching North Texas vs. SMU tonight. Tough watching the North Texas QB…the QB of the very lame 3-6 North Texas Mean Green…and knowing that HH would have no shot to start there…but he’s apparently the best thing Nebraska has.
I appreciate the optimism and I think we all hope he plays lights out. But the reality is the kid is a 50% passer with terrible decision-making capabilities (twice as many INTs as TD's) and a mediocre runner. The improvement would have to be massive to make much of a difference. If it happens...
I understand your point. The playcalling hasn't been great. However, if you were to take the player caller from LSU or Oregon (currently 1st and 2nd in total offense) and give them this offense with HH running things, do you honestly think that things are better? The great plays ever created...
