Despite the reputation of Spurrier as the head of an offensive aerial attack, USC’s mantra in 2011 has been its pass defense, which boasts the No. 2 pass defense in the country. The Gamecocks allow a mere 133.0 yards per game through the air and feature the fourth-ranked overall defense in the country, giving up just 268.9 yards per game.

No we just avoided Illinois, Indiana and Purdue....just think had we played them instead of Wisconsin, Michigan and Michigan State....

Yeah me too....with Latimore injured (knee---GREAT RB) and Garica booted from the team their best asset is their stout defense....I think we can run the ball on them....will be a slugfest for sure...I like it...
