I got told in high school all the time that we got our butts kicked as an offense during practice and we lead the state in scoring and yards
Probably not lol, remember during the COVID season we had ZERO offensive holding calls against the other team?

Northwestern averaged 16 points a game in 2021
Their opponents 29
Mike Hankwitz one of the great defensive minds in the game retired after the 2020 season as their D Coordinator his last season they gave up 14.3 points per game
Thus under a new coordinator they doubled the amount of points given up last season
They also averaged 22 points per game in 2020 which would have also have been an issue in 2021 when they gave up 29 points a game
Loss of their HOF Defensive coordinator was huge
