Nope, Snodgrass hit wrapped up and tackled. If it were any other of our inside linebackers, they would of let them get three more yards easy if not more.

Kind of where I'm at right now. McCaffrey's a nice wrinkle and kind of a nice "slash" option. But the passing is just weak.

Smothers is probably the future.

I don't want to make too much of AM coming in and scoring right away given the circumstances of the game, but he needs to be our starter on Friday.

Long-term, our starter needs to be Smothers or someone we get in the transfer portal.

The downfield passing on this one drive was better than ANY of the other drives period. McCaffrey is an electric athlete but doesn't trust his reads or throwing yet. Nor do I blame him as his played QB for how many years? Martinez gives us the best chance to win. I wasn't in the group of wanting him to start but that's my opinion.
