Ohio State’s star CB Shaun Wade just announced he will come back to Ohio State to play his senior season; he had announced he was leaving for the NFL. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio...ade-will-return-to-ohio-state-for-2020-season
Penn State’s Micah Parsons is considering coming back as well.https://247sports.com/Article/Micah-Parsons-Penn-State-return-thinking-about-it-opt-out-NFL-Draft-2021-Big-Ten-October-star-151628997/

Wade is back. Parsons will have to get NCAA approval to come back because he has hired an agent.

No agent, no problem. I’m not sure I’d think the NCAA would turn a blind eye to an agent.

I think chances are good that Ohio State and Penn State will be our two cross-over games. You know the Big Ten is not going to let us off easy after the shutdown push-back.
Ridiculous if that's what happens with the crossovers. Not that it would surprise me.

I know there are some who maintain that we shouldn't care about - and should maybe even want - an overweighted crossover schedule. I don't think that is what a rebuilding program needs though. It also provides what amounts to a 1-game or 2-game advantage to other West teams who play 0 or 1 games against tOSU, Penn St., and Michigan.

My guess is that the only problem may come if an agent has given the player money and the player is unable to return it for whatever reason. I think the Big had 10 or 12 players that had opted out to prepare for the draft. It will be hard for the NCAA to permit some to come back and not others, even if they they signed with an agent, particularly after the case of the ASU punter.

Thanks for sharing this. It sounds like there could be an interesting background story. That's a pretty big loss for PSU, certainly helps our chances I believe.

Probably benefits Ohio State more than anyone. Penn State is the one team that can go toe-to-toe with OSU and has a shot to win the East Division. The last four meetings between those two have been decided by single digits -- two of the four by one point. The path for OSU's championship run has one less roadblock.

I'm guessing it is something like he accepted money from his agent, probably spent a bunch of it (making it difficult to pay back), and getting approval from the NCAA was going to be difficult.
