Frost can do whatever he wants - I’ve just never been a big fan of “do as I say, not as I do.” It’s just my personal thing.

I agree.
When Frost starts smoking pot, skipping team meetings and practices, then let's sit him down and have a conversation.
Hell yeah. Drinking IPA right now. But I’m not a national coach of the year, paid to set an example and mentor young men.
If Frost was undefeated, half the state would start letting their facial hair grow.
With only 8 wins in almost two full seasons, nothing he does, wears, or says is going to avoid negative scrutiny.
Hopefully, this will all end up like the last time the fans turned on him.
Hopefully, the answer is that we want to be patient and let SF recruit, develop, and coach us out of this mess.

... and no one smokes now. Anywhere near the campus. I care if the head coach smokes or dips, or is a drunk. Again, all are legal. I would expect that Frost would care if his players chewed.

Do you think he's telling them to shave every day, dress spiffy, and not to partake tobacco? Talk about a detriment to recruiting, if so.

Didn't say they do. He doesn't do any of them currently, so we're all good. Unless you're still concerned about other legal things he's doing.
This does bother me a little--if tobacco is banned [edit: on campus], he should honor the ban like everyone else is expected to.

You're worried about the wrong things.
I guarantee you kids on the roster dip. It's a thing. It won't be forever, maybe, but it isn't our business and doesn't impact their ability to play football.
I quit... because I was worried about my health. It's an individual thing.
Heard Frost is recruiting guys that chew because they are "tough guys". Him chewing gives him an edge. 
Let me know when he does something wrong.
And you and I have the luxury of sitting behind a keyboard anonymously. If I had to stand up in front Dirk Chatelain every week, it would probably take a bourbon for me to not tell him what I really think.
