Yes, I misspoke. Everyone has reminded me.I'm pretty sure Riley and Langsdorf offered him. It was Bo and Beck that dropped the ball on that.

To be fair, Riley actually came in and went after Burrow. Pelini didn't recruit him.
Yes, he did. So I really don't understand why folks are saying that some coaches did recruit him. I don't know. Either way, we dropped the ball big time.Didn’t Burrow just say in an interview somewhere that no one from Nebraska recruited him? I assume that meant Riley too.
You sure?He will play
That's what all 12 of us are here for.Yes, I misspoke. Everyone has reminded me.

So basically it was just a hail Mary from Riley to make it look like he tried.New coach Mike Riley attempted to get back into the recruiting horse race with Burrow. No such luck.
"Oklahoma and Nebraska tried to change my mind," Burrow said. "And Jim Harbaugh called one time. I told him I'm committed to Ohio State. I'm not taking any other visits."
Recruiting: QB Joe Burrow has plenty of Husker ties, but '100 percent' committed to Ohio State
Whatever effort three top programs — Nebraska, Oklahoma and Michigan — made to try and make Athens (Ohio) quarterback Joe Burrow waver from his commitment to Ohio State, they appearwww.omaha.com

I disagree that he did and so does JB.Just pointing out that Riley went hard after Burrow after he took the Nebraska job. You can interpret that however you want.
Their commercials SUCK!You were both close.......lol.
Pelini AND Peloton
Sorry....just kidding!
You guys only think that your the apostles...That's what all 12 of us are here for.

Riley had less than two months to put together his first recruiting class in Lincoln after being hired away from Oregon State in Dec. 2014 and the Huskers weren’t able to sign a quarterback despite making a late run at Nebraska legacy eventual Ohio State signee Joe Burrow. Had Riley had a full year to recruit Burrow things might have been different but by the time Riley was hired Borrow was already locked in the Buckeyes.
He didn't fit what Beck liked to do. Which was lose games.
Riley and Langsdorf went real hard after Joe, to the point he was going to open back up his recruitment or commit to Nebraska as he wasn’t comfortable with Beck. Then Meyer and Beck did an in-house and he re-affirmed.I disagree that he did and so does JB.
