2019 Scholarship Numbers

Updated the roster with Green's number.

Added Zach Schlager (Colorado State) to the walk-on list. It's not official, but it sounds like it's a done deal after his dad gave an interview to a paper in Fort Collins.

Updated the initial counter list. Green is the 25th and final counter for the 2019 class. That could change if John Bivens ends up here. Vokolek could be counted forwards (blue shirt) to the 2020 class to make room in the 2019 class for Bivens.

Removed two walk-ons from the roster. TFr CB Cam Kleinschmidt (Lincoln High) and RFr LB Anthony Banderas (Southwest). Sitting at 70 walk-ons assuming Schlager does in fact transfer to Nebraska.

Edit* TFr WR Riley Kinney (Loveland, CO) has also been removed. Down to 69 walk-ons.

RSo walk-on LS Brig Banks was added to the roster today. He's the older brother of Brant. Spent the last two years on the defensive line with no game appearances at Henderson State.

The roster is now up to 153.

A couple of number changes:
Caleb Tannor 1 to 2.
Rahmir Johnson 6 to 14.
Braxton Clark 11 to 17.
Tony Butler 2 to 25.

RSo K Matt Waldoch (Geneva, IL) was added to the roster today.

Matt Waldoch joined the Huskers as a walk on in September to add kicking depth to the roster.

Waldoch was a Nebraska student for two years before joining the football team. He played both football and soccer for Geneva High School in Illinois, playing his final football season in the fall of 2016 and his final soccer season in the spring of 2017.

Waldoch's Hudl page.

4* DB Henry Gray (Miami, FL) becomes the 11th commit for the 2020 class.
