The Polar Bear has said he will not wrestle. Wants to focus solely on football
This is his last summer then to collect a couple national individual wresting championships. Hope he gets some more notches on his belt.

It's also why he won't be an early enrollee for this class. He wants to finish his HS wrestling career in the spring.
Anyone have stats for baseball? Can’t find any.Same with Nixon who will play his final season of HS baseball

A lot of reasons to love this kid. Art Briles built prolific offenses by recruiting these types of 3* kids out of Texas with speed. Anxious to see our offense develop in years to come.No but I will see what I can find

Also a talented outfielder, Nixon said he has Frost’s blessing to try out for and play on the Husker baseball team as well. He won’t enroll early at NU so he can play on his high school team again next spring.
Saw he was trying to play... it just takes an extremely gifted athlete to excel at both in college. That's why I was curious his stats. Pelini gave his blessing one year to an absolutely awful baseball player, Hunter Dale, who hit .246 as a junior and it was really frustrating to see.I am still looking but here is a tid bit about playing baseball
Texas receiver William Nixon commits to Nebraska, where he believes he'll 'succeed best'
This was no ordinary recruiting process for William Nixon. But after touring Nebraska in June, the coach's kid and consensus three-star receiver couldn't say no to the Huskers.www.omaha.com

I'm sure this is a different situation tho.

No one has brought up Turner Gill. Played pro ballKhiry Cooper comes to mind too. If I recall, he was drafted pretty high out of high school and then proceded to do absolutely nothing in either football or baseball here.

Lots of names/bodies, but not a ton of production outside of Spielman, Stoll, and Noa (at Cal). I'm sure some on the list will step up this year, but we could still use some difference-makers.Although I like to see all state of Nebr players stay and play for NU we have allot of WR and TE on our roster:
