Mike Dawson to the Giants

If you're going to dream big, why not dream REAL big: Larry Johnson. Remember when OSU stole Javontae Jean-Baptiste away from us during a blizzard? Johnson had a big hand in that. Do you know how a lot of us are still fuming about that? JJB doesn't even make Johnson's list of big-time recent recruits. Why not dream about getting the best recruiting D-line coach in all of college football, and arguably the best coach at developing talent?

Wouldn't it be somewhat of a step down though? He's already assistant head coach and DL coach. Hopefully someone good is available.

Want Parella bad, think he would be a great fit. Think he just got hired recently by the Lions? I was hoping he would be retained in some way when Frost first showed up. Think he is an asst. DL coach with the Lions, so more than likely the DL job at NU would pay more, and think Dawson was making roughly twice what Parella was getting at NU.
Jason Peter

Are people really mentioning names of NU players with minimal to no coaching experience? Jason Peter? Adam Carriker? Really? NU can get way better than those two.

C
Warren & Parella are viable candidates but I suspect Coach Frost will choose someone strong on the recruiting trail, especially at that position which has been a problem for a lot of years.

Randall Joyner, SMU, Defensive Ends Coach (26): A high-energy coach who pupiled under defensive line mastermind Larry Johnson at Ohio State, where he was a graduate assistant. Joyner played linebacker at SMU from 2010-13 and departed the Buckeyes with glowing reviews.
