National Signing Day #2 Thread: Signing Day Presser At 2PM CST (Updates On JD, MO etc)





NSD and speculating about potential signers used to keep January kind of interesting for the Huskers and all of CFB. The early signing date sure made it boring, though hopefully it is benefiting us...maybe SF makes spices it up by landing a real shocker by day end.

JUCO is not that hard but some of these kids come from tough backgrounds where they are homeless, move from hotel to hotel etc and struggle just to survive let alone get the academic and support system they need to survive in life let alone playing football. I see kids like that everyday teaching and its tough all the way around because most of them are good kids who just need a break when they are hanging on for dear life.

I see them too. Especially the youth football team I coach. About half the kids are from South east DC. They grow up seeing violence as an every day occurrence.
 



Starting to think that Bivens knee didnt get the thumbs up from the NU staff on his official visit. Probably asking him to go JUCO or prep school. But still wouldnt be surprised if they take him late today.

The knee so folks understand was about as bad as it gets. Ways to go from what I have heard

Some scuttlebutt he may go the JUCO route to show that the knee can hold up
