For those that may not know, the ranking is a cumulative rolling four-year span. Current games get weighted more than the four year-old games. Big tourney games get weighted higher than a friendly.
Germany's prior WC championship drops off, current WC semifinalists have the largest new data points.
I can't believe the USMNT is at 22. How is that possible?
No clue to be honest....should be in the 40 range in my opinion.
The 2014 WC results no longer apply to these rankings. Can the 2017 Gold Cup and Copa America results make that big of an impact?
They might honestly until I understand the new system better I am not real sure.

I knew it was because they delayed the post World Cup Rankings until 16 August. Suspect they were struggling with it too.
