I'm trying to find out for sure, but I believe that David Jensen who he wrestled in the first round, is the younger brother of Jr Hwt Collin Jensen...

I wondered if they were related some how.

Well I know Collin has a younger brother David, and he is a freshman at UNL... I just didn't think he was going to wrestle. And that's not exactly a unique name, but the likelihood is it is the one and the same... Must have decided to walk-on and wrestle with his brother.

Just saw both Jensen's are on the NU wrestling roster along with Farmer.

I just saw that. Good for David for giving it a go, although he was not quite the wrestler in high school that his brother was.

Awesome for TJ that he placed 2nd as well. Thought he had a shot at winning, just couldn't quite keep the energy up in the 2nd period.

Also great to see the positive attention the University was getting because of Jordan Burroughs... a couple of long interviews on both Friday and Saturday on ESPN.

Former Husker lineman moves to Concordia wrestling
The Concordia Wrestling team that picked him up as the Nebraska grad has one semester of eligibility left.

Concordia competes in the NAIA, and like the NCAA, it has a 10 semester eligibility limit. The big difference: NAIA doesn't have a time limit on those semesters.
Very interesting. I didn't know this. A lot of athletes in various sports probably have eligibility left and don't even know that they could enroll at an NAIA school and compete.

If you look at the roster for Concordia there are 7 wrestlers at 285. Farmer will have competition.

One of those 7 is Stann who is ranked at #17.

Farmer wins debut, Bulldogs defeat Ottawa

"The former Cornhusker football offensive lineman eventually pulled out a 3-2 triumph over 20th-ranked Lex Plummer with the help of riding time. Farmer excited the crowd with a couple of big lifts. "
