Go for 2 on the 2nd touchdown instead of the PAT that way going into the final TD knowing either we need a pat or 2 pt conversion. They couldn't stop us in 4th quarter. Still disappointed in the loss. Throw it 3 yrds higher in the air & it's a touchdown instead it's an INT in OT. We still win the Big 10 West & beat MSU at home. Miami has the sAmerican speed as Ohio State which I give us a good chance of beating Thanks to this game. GBR.

Nope. Miss it and 8 doesn't even tie the game.

Argh...heartbreak city again for the 2nd time in 3 games. Ugh, I really thought we had the momentum and were going to take it in OT. *sigh*

Wonderful comeback, though. So proud the team didn't give up or give in. Scoring 23 points in 8 minutes is no mean feat - and two, 2-point conversions is not easy to do. The guy who said we would win on two, 2-point conversions almost wound up looking like a seer, lol.

Just like the BYU game, there are things to fix, but also a lot for the team to hold their heads up about. The team will learn from its mistakes and be better for it - I really think that's the case. And Tommy Armstrong was so clutch, not to mention Stanley Morgan, Jr. and Brandon Reilly and Jordan Westerkamp and all the guys who made those crazy 4th quarter drives turn into points.

What needs work, is not getting down so bad to begin with. If the team can do that, their future is bright.
I'm real proud of them.
On the other hand, no more moral victories.

Puff! Puff! Pass!

same as saying if I would have just made those 2 putts on 17 and 18..... Everybody can say that but I feel ya. 2 very close losses is hard to swallow but the fight in these guys is nice to see. I hope some of Coach Riley's recruits can jump in right away and contribute because we are lacking "play makers" on both sides of the ball.
erase 2 plays, 3W-0L Huskers record

You're correct. It wouldn't have tied it. I thank bud light for the quick math still disappointed on the loss. I'd have went for 2 on the 2nd TD but I'm not a coach and it added up for us to get to OT. Should've won. Love the heart and comeback ability of the team. Don't see a loss the rest of the year. Looking forward to,seeing us play in person in 2 weeks at illinois. GBR.

Here's my one, no make that two thoughts on this game:

$#$% &^%$*! .................
and,
This team does not give up!

I was at the stadium today. Sucked for 3.5 quarters. Great for last 0.5.

Miami fans lived down to their reputations as finicky voids, surrounded by a sphincter.

Ohio State struggled mightily today against Northern Illinois; Michigan State could barely handle Air Force's option attack. I am very optimistic heading into conference play. Not to mention Minnesota pulled out a a couple point win versus Kent State.

You speaking of BYU?

Oh wait, never mind!

No kidding. Wisconsin handled Troy pretty handily, but aside from them, Northwestern is looking like a bigger danger at this point.
