Tough tough road schedule in 2018. Lackluster home schedule that year but throw in Colorado so that will be fun. As bad as the home schedule is, the overall schedule is nice, albeit difficult. Sheesh, @Mich, OSU, and Wisconsin? LOL.

Couldn't we get one of those tough games at home in 2018?? Terrible combination of boring games at home and difficult ones on the road.

NU and BP better have a defense to take on the road in 2018. Can't see us going 4-0 against that. 1-3 seems likely.
Heart. Play with it. Every play.

    Balance >>> winning.

2018 looks like an incredibly hard schedule. We play on the road at 5 of the B1G 6 toughest teams.

2018.....OH MY GOD. Away Michigan/Wisconsin/Ohio St is a monster of a schedule. Season ticket holders are in for a treat 2019.
Full disclosure: I grew up in an era of Husker football when it was blasphemous for a coach to say he was "spooked" out of calling a run play. Of course, that was when hard-nosed running defined the program.

It's difficult to establish a strong run game without firm resolve. Daily resolve. In too many instances such as when Nebraska calls for passes on third-and-3 in four-down territory a lack of commitment is evident.

I really really hate the new 14-team Big Ten. Michigan and Penn State are not coming to Lincoln again this decade. The earliest either team will play at Memorial Stadium is 2020. That's not a conference. That's a scheduling alliance, and a very loose one at that.
~Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.~

At least we have our excuses lined up for those 2 years: Big 10 screwed us!
