We raised over $4,000 for the Hastings Museum with the Through These Gates Screening

Just got back from doing two screenings at the Hastings Museum of Through These Gates on their IMAX size screen. Never knew my head was so big.

We raised over $4,000 for the Museum between ticket, DVD, Book and auction sales in addition to concession sales which included Kool-Aid of course. Set a new record for the auction items featuring the Vince Ferragamo/Dave Humm Husker Super Bowl quarterback signed footballs of $500 twice in the first auction and $300 in the second auction.

Here's a You Tube video of our interview on KHAS TV early yesterday morning that helped boost attendance at the screenings. Today (Tuesday, 9/10) we will be in Geneva, Wednesday we will be in Pierce, and Friday we will be back in Lincoln at the Joyo Theater on Havelock doing a screening for the Git-R-Done Foundation. Sunday we will be in Fremont before taking a break next week.

I will be catching the show in Phoenix in a couple weeks. Anything planned out here other than the showing? Congrats to everyone that donated money and supported the Museum.

Bought my ticket the other day for the Tucson showing.

Here's an article from the Broken Bow screening with a photo of Jim Scott, a walk on from Ansley who was mentioned in the film. We raised over $1,000 at that screening.
