    Committed to Stanford...

Harrison Phillips@horribleharry99 However, I have officially committed to Stanford! I love the staff, recruits, and the success on the field and in the classroom. #NerdNation

    Not surprising. Good luck.

What a low character loser! How dare he betray his home state??!! I hope we play them in the Rose Bowl and Tanner Farmer breaks his arms!!! Why can't our staff recruit kids from 50 miles away??!! THE SKY IS FALLING!!

No issue with that....except Cal is the best education west of the Mississippi....

In an interview with the World-Herald before the announcement, Phillips said “the deciding factor” in Stanford’s favor was the strength of its education.

“The weight of a degree from Stanford is phenomenal,” Phillips said. “Stanford’s the best academic school west of the Mississippi River. That’s something you can’t look past, for sure. The campus is gorgeous. It’s 13 miles from the ocean.”

    FYI....

Phillips made a point to say that NU’s done a good job of recruiting in-state players. But he also said that “if Nebraska had offered me six months ago, I probably wouldn’t have made that trip to Stanford in the first place.”

It doesn’t matter if the glass is half full or half empty. What matters is you have a glass that has something in it. Some people have no glass, or have a glass with nothing in it. So appreciate all that is in your life and quit questioning whether your glass in half full or half empty.

I have no problems with the staff not offering until after camp and I'm sure he's right that if they had offered after the bowl game he'd be a commit right now

Meh. Reminds me of that time I got rejected by a pretty girl and then attempted to become involved with her friend. Turns out, some people don't like being the second choice.
