this type of stuff happens when you have zero rotation at rb....he always seemed to get positive yards but maybe saw what was coming as realized he would be watching more than playing the next 2 years

Heard was likely in line to be #2 behind Ameer ... get quite a few more carries in 2013 ... and should Ameer go down to injury, Heard was in great position. I thought he had quite a potential future in Lincoln. Maybe he felt otherwise. Or maybe it's something entirely different. Truly a shame as Braylon was quite the trooper in patience and perseverance to even get himself in this position prior to his said departure.

I don't think that is out of the question. Went to Cardinal Mooney, plus he has a redshirt year in which he can play 2 years after his transfer RS

Wow...that is really disappointing news. He would have received a lot of carries next year. Hopefully, Newbie is the real deal.

With Newby and Taylor having committed, and the talk of their possible/probable/likely play time, the amount of available carries would seem to be less, and even more so if either/both jumped ahead of him in playing time. If true, can't blame the guy, but sure will be missed especially after all the work he did to get on campus.
