Dykstra Leaving Program
Ouch this hurts. Another starter gone next year. She wants to switch to Beach Volleyball. She said she lost her passion for Indoor Volleyball. Will be a very green team next year.

Libero.
Listen, I know all teams need 'em, but cmon, she's a libero. We'll survive.
Nebraska fans, this is called someone in your conference having your back…welcome to the Big Ten. - HawkeyeNation

She is a beach player at heart so wish her the best. Honestly, I could tell she wasn't happy. It showed in her inconsistent play. This is not the worst thing to happen to the team.

Surprise, surprise.
The ole "beach volleyball" excuse, eh? It took her a senior year commitment in high school, and two years in Lincoln to figure out there is no beach volleyball? Lol.
Now wait for the other shoe to drop: Dykstra transfers, then the local rag writes an article on her with an interview, and the "real" reason comes out.
And again, I'll beg this question: Why do Cooks teams end up basket cases at the end of the year?
"I told him to be patient, that these things have a way of working themselves out." -- Tom Osborne to Steve Taylor when Taylor voiced concerns about the direction of the football program under Bill Callahan and Steve Pederson.

They don't. I hope that answers your question.
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.

"I have never seen people with more class than I saw at Nebraska. The Nebraska fans, players, cheerleaders, band, officials, coaches, etc., gave me living testimony of what college football should be all about." - Bobby Bowden
"If one can't enjoy the ride, do a team of the week -- but even then you'll probably be disappointed." - beans
