East Stadium Pics

So I'm sure that since most of you guys don't live in Lincoln many of you haven't seen what the new construction looks like yet. Well the band was doing some sort of concert thing in the stadium yesterday which allowed people to go inside, so I thought I'd take a few pictures for you guys so you can see the progress.

East Stadium from the inside.



It looks like they're doing a little work on West Stadium as well.

I am wondering if the lights will be moved from current location in east stadium or if they will be an obstruction for the fans that get to sit in those seats.

I think the east expansion is going to help a lot in lessening the end zone-heavy configuration of Memorial Stadium. Should help with the noise level also.

From what I have read it sounds like most of the exterior will complete and the structure will be in place. So it should look fairly complete by the time the season rolls around.
