    BTN Shows Tonight

Some of you are aware, but the Big Ten Network is replaying the Ohio State and Fresno State games tonight, plus the Mizzou game from 2010, when Roy Helu ran wild on the Tigers.

There is also a 30 minute special on Tom Osborne, airing several times. Perfect way to pump up for 2012!!!!

3 Heisman Winners. 54 Consensus All-Americans. 28 Major Award Winners. 23 College Football Hall of Famers.

    +1!

NU tOSU on right now. NU down a TD
I'm skeptical of BP. I think he has plateaued.

    If a change is made:

Hire a proven HC, OC, and DC. No on the job training.

My biggest beef with BP: For such a tough-nosed head coach, BP cannot coach it into his players. Starters are not pushed by 2nd and 3rd stringers, because the backups cannot get on the field in a game, unless the starter is injured.

NU getting ready to tie the game vs. tOSU, now.

    Thank God for Bauserman.

Can we take up a collection to keep him on scholarship at tOSU?

How was the preview show? I don't have Big Ten Network so I couldn't see it.

    The usual preseason hype.

    Nothing earth shattering

Everyone really impressed with the incoming freshmen on the D-Line. Lots of praise for Jackson. Bottom line, if we can run and play blackshirt defense, we'll be fine. Consensus is Taylor's passing is improved but not enough to be a threat.

Just tuned in. Fresno/NU game on. Fresno just scored from the QB dive to go up 13 to 7 over NU......isn't this the game where Stafford made that hit?

I dvr'd it and haven't had a chance to re-watch it yet, but it did appear that the d-line was firing off the ball more aggressively than the passive response that I noticed the last couple of years.

In high school, we won a state championship using a very similar gap scheme, but our philosophy was to meet the offensive lineman at the line of scrimmage and stalemate or push them back a yard while making our reads. The past couple of years, at least to my eyes, it looks as if we are just letting the offensive linemen come to us and by that time it is to late.

Thanks, yea, I couldn't remember which game it was. But I was reminded when Q made his play to get back the ball after an INT
