Congrats to the Kearney team. It's very exciting as we have had a couple of teams from Hagerstown make it to Williamsport over the years, the last one just a few years ago.

Kearney LL Team getting ready to represent the Midwest in the Little League World Series at 7:00 Central time on ESPN . Playing a team from Tennessee representing the Southeast.

    Go Kearney!

Well, the colors haven't helped, nor has anything else. Nebraska getting embarrased by
Tennessee so far. Kind of reminds you of UNL's unimpressive debut season in the Big Ten baseball season.

Now, it has become a ludicrous joke! No contest.

Keep in mind this Kearney team was only a mediocre travel team in the 2nd highest division in USSSA. There are Nebraska teams that would've dismantled this Kearney team, but those teams don't play Little League, they only play USSSA, so they are not eligible for the LLWS tournament.

The Kearney team is #8, Kearney Titans Orange. Click on the team for more details.

Connecticut leads 3-0 in the top of the 4th. Kearney has only hit one ball out of the infield so far.

Yes, the Kearney boys took a beating. Oh, well. Perhaps they can take the experience home and build even more to the future. Maybe even get a win next year?

Kearney and the State of Nebraska are proud of this history making team!

They do get to play a consolation game against Germany on Monday (who also got shellacked) in a shot to get a win in Williamsport.

Agreed. Some of those Frozen Ropes teams that Omaha puts together are pretty salty.
