    I wonder how he looks good, I don't believe they have even put pads on yet have they? I really hope we don't play him for 10 plays in the 2nd game of the season then not see him the rest of the year. I'd almost rather him look terrible right now.

    A lot of it is him just showing athleticism right now, and a good arm. They are piecing together the playbook and not throwing everything at the players right away. If he can handle all of that he will be in contention. But right now his football/quarterback skills are validating their recruitment of him.

    Signs of optimism for the Corn Nation. However, backup QBs often seem to get unwarranted love at the start of the season. Let's hope we don't need him right away.

    I wouldn't count Carnes out. Sometimes with these guys the light can suddenly come on, and in a short time they make great strides.

    T Mart is the best we have for now but not long.. T A will be better before it's all said and done. IMHO
