NU/Penn St on tv the next four years?
With everything they threw at Penn State, 60 million in fines, loss of scholarships, no bowls and no Big 10 share of bowl money I was sure they said no TV appearances. I just googled Penn St sanctions and it appears they can be on TV during the season, if not it would be one game every year the Huskers wouldn't get on the Big 10 network.
Maybe the NCAA just overlooked slapping Penn St with that restriction?

Nope. That punishes the teams that play them and the conference.

Exactly. The TV ban is a ridiculous punishment. Totally unworthwhile.

Both teams get paid for TV appearances?

What was the last team to receive a TV ban, as part of NCAA sanctions? Auburn in the mid-90's? It's been awhile, and I wouldn't worry about it.

You're right, very rare, Auburn 1993 was the last I could find.
