Awesome weekend in KC
My wife and I had a free nights stay at the Embassy Suites to use up, so we tacked a second night on, left the kids with grandma and grandpa, and had a needed date weekend in KC. Dinner and beers on Friday at Waldo Pizza (motto: "Corporate Pizza Sucks"), some time at the pool yesterday before heading to the Plaza to windowshop, dinner at Fiorello's Jack Stack, then drinks and live jazz at the Blue Room in the 18th and Vine neighborhood.
Today will be an early lunch at Tomfooleries (gotta try their peanut butter and bacon burger), then catching a matinee of The Dark Knight before heading home.
SO nice to have a relaxing weekend...

Peanut butter goes with everything Luth, I really love Bacon, Mayo, fried egg & Peanut butter sandwiches. Thou the cardiologist frowns on em. Don't know why?
