The restaurant is a favorite among motorcyclists and, with its proximity to the MoPac Trail, bicyclists as well. Many like to sit on tiered deck, which overlooks the Platte River.
“The view is also so pretty in the winter,” Shirley Smith said. “I wish more people would come visit us in the winter. Summer is more fun, but winter to me is the prettiest.”

Heck, we had a nice gathering there about 3 years ago. They made the wings & we covered em in H-D's special sauce. Was also the place that 57 molested the german shepherd.

Sounds great! Next time we're in Lincoln and go for a ride on the MoPac, we'll have to venture on over...

While I would agree with the owner that Nebraska can be underrated in the winter (at least when there is snow on the ground); I find it very beautiful in the summer (I see fields of green, skies of blue... clouds of white) and I have a lot of fond memories of hanging out along the Platte spring, summer and fall...
