    Bronze deer?

First off, hi guys. Glad to be here.

Secondly, my fiancée is taking summer classes at UNL and said there is a bronze deer statue sitting by the stadium kind of by the Osborne/Berringer statue. Anyone know what that's all about?

Welcome to the board, but no, I have no idea.
I really hate Penn State! (And I'm not that wild about Iowa either.)

I would give my life for anyone one of them as i would my own family. -Pops

It doesn’t matter if the glass is half full or half empty. What matters is you have a glass that has something in it. Some people have no glass, or have a glass with nothing in it. So appreciate all that is in your life and quit questioning whether your glass in half full or half empty.

There's also a bronze scapegoat that Callahan had erected outside North Stadium.

It must be blind -- it seems to be a no-eye-deer.

Isn't this the biblical Bronze Deer that all non Husker fans whorship?
Can't say I've noticed it before.
I'm not sure, but a photo of the subject Bronze Deer sure would help with its purpose and to determine the meaning of it.
It's a great day to be a Husker Fan!

Maybe it reflects Dr. Tom's take-responsibility attitude: The buck stops here.

It's not a statue... just a deer holding very very still.
