Over head 8.5 games?
Am i the only one betting big on this? 8.5 games. Seems easy for coach bo.
USM - W
ucla - w ( could be tougher than originally thought though)
arkanasas state w
Idaho State W
wisconsin should be win ( revenge factor plus wisc lost lot of coaches and key players
Ohio state ( toss up)
northwester ( W) should be some revenge from last year on this game
michigan ( toss up)
mich state toss up
penn state W
Minn W
Iowa should be W
Maybe looks a little tougher on paper than i thought, but still feel Nebraska should win 9 games.
Whats everyone else think?
and my over/under 8.5 games. Idk what i was thinking. Mods help!

I agree. With a little luck we get to 10-2, but that probably means beating Wisconsin and Michigan at home.

There is much better action to be found than this, I would advise Husker fans to avoid risking their money on this prop bet.

You apparently didn't see the little emoticon thingys ------ they imply that whichever way you bet, I would bet the opposite way. Sorry to confuse you. It was supposed to be funny. It is for those of us with a sense of humor.
Incidentally, if I were to bet, which I will not, it would be on the overs with the stated odds. I expect you to post the idiocy of making that bet. I am waiting, with bated breath, for your reply.

I think what GFOA was saying was that you might be able to find better odds than wagering $125 to win $100 on the over. For example, $110 to win $100.

I think if you had to bet you should bet the overs. Not only because I think that has the best chance of coming in, but if you are posting on this board I doubt you want to start rooting for losses.
But I agree with GFOA, there are a few other bets out there that are locks instead of this one...

Thank you. Now I can un-bate my breath.
Apparently the humor I intended by the post was not as humorous as I thought. It has absolutely nothing to do with wagering and everything to do with the fact that I rarely agree with material GFOA posts. It is nice to see that he has friends to defend him though.

barring some crazy injury situation to TMart, I think 9 wins is the expectation here. 8 wins would be a disappointment.
if TMart improves as we all think, and we can find some recievers who arent allergic to the ball, then 10 wins shouldnt be a huge suprise, but should just be looked at as progression, and a nice year. 11 wins is great year, one where we get some breaks of timely turnovers, and/or injuries to key players on the other team, or just the perfect storm that benefits our team. I'd like to believe that we can just pull it all together as a team, and win 11 on our own merit and great execution.

"Locks"? You are joking, right?
If you want a lock, go to the hardware store.

Your post lost all credibility for me, and I stopped reading, at the bolded words above.

Unfortunately that game could result in our qb tossing up many many 50/50 balls
