I believe Ade got bounced in the prelims so really it's only one Husker. I'm sure there will be more talk once the games actually start.
And for the record, it is hard to get anything going on this board outside of the season and then that usually is just the guys who want to point out the obvious short comings of BBall program.

Actually Nigeria got the last spot and they play in the opening game tomorrow at 3AM central time.
you're wrong and did you even bother to read the article linked in the OP?
EDIT I see Vinny posted.
I apologize, the last article I read was on the journal star website which I believe said they had to win one more game to get the last spot and they lost. That's awesome they got in, must of read it wrong.
IT is unprecedented that we have 2 former Husker Basketball players playing in the olympics at the same time, considering we've never had a single one play in the past olympics. I was hoping there'd be more congrats posts and such....look at all the love Jordan Larson is getting, and yet these 2 huskers aren't getting much? I know she's from Nebraska and all. Just sayin'.
When Nebraska has a player on the USA Olympic team that will be something. A player making the Nigerian team...well...there are literally hundreds of college players that could make the Nigerian national team. Nigerian basketball is about as significant as Jamaican bobsledding. Ade's a nice player so props to him. But it's not significant as it relates to NU.
Back on subject, I see Ade played 17min which was the 7th most for his team and scored 6 points. His percentage is pretty low but hopefully he does better.
Maric on the other hand only played 7min is a loss and only scored two points.
