They said on ESPN this morning that New York can still match Lynn's offer.

It's hard for me to imagine NYK letting Linn go. He's the fan favorite in that city -- even if he did trail off late in the season. Knicks fans would be mighty upset if the franchise let him go. And from what I've been reading/hearing, Kidd was brought in to mentor Linn. Otherwise, Kidd's value is minimal so far as actual production is concerned.
