Didn't see a thread on Tiger so here is one.

Woods closed with a 2-under 69 -- at one point going 41 holes without a bogey on a Congressional course that was tougher than when it held the U.S. Open last year -- and won for the third time this year. It was the 74th win of his career, moving him past Jack Nicklaus into second place on the PGA Tour, eight short of Sam Snead's record.

It was a good tournament and Tiger looked pretty calm. And he plays next week!

Best quote of the day yesterday about Tiger, from Bo Van Pelt, ""I think he's the only guy to win three tournaments on tour this year, is that correct?" he said. "On three different golf courses. And he was leading the U.S. Open after two days. So I'd say that he's playing the best golf in the world right now."

I was reading something the other day talking about how now that Tiger is more comfortable with his swing, that he can focus more of his time to his short game....His putting has been a huge letdown compared to his old putting stats....if he gets that flatstick working like he used to, man, watch out

Tiger is now #1 in FedEx points and earnings for 2012. He's playing the best golf on the Tour right now. He as as back as it gets. No one will ever be like the Tiger of 2000. That was very special time and won't be repeated. He is now the best among fellow mortals.
