Treating EMT's sworn testimony confirms Zimmerman's injuries
A member of a Sanford, Fla., ambulance crew told a court today that George Zimmerman's head, including his moustache and beard, were covered in blood after the shooting of Trayvon Martin.
EMT Kevin O'Rourke testified during Zimmerman's bond hearing this morning that "45 percent" of Zimmerman's head had blood on it and that the lacerations on Zimmerman's head "would probably need stitches."
O'Rourke also testified that Zimmerman's nose was broken and urged him to see a doctor within 24 hours.

I think he possibly passed one in a car on his way to the courthouse.

but ended up not needing stitches...must of been a rookie EMT....good thing he doest work triage. ...The little cuts on GZ heads dose not match the story that his head was being repeatedly pounded into the sidewalk....and yes a little cut could produce enough blood to cover 45% of his head.

I wasn't there - heck, I wasn't even in the courtroom when he testified, so I certainly won't question the EMT's testimony, because I don't have adequate direct knowledge to do so. I firmly believe that you too, don't have enough direct knowledge here to disparage the EMT and call him a rookie, due to his direct testimony since he was at the scene. Your analysis is based on news pictures of Zimmerman taken well after the fact, and nothing more - correct?

Do you think that the EMT was confusing the lacerations that required stitches with Martin's wounds?
Everything that is necessary will come out in trial. I think the state must feel pretty good that the forensic evidence shows that Martin was maybe not pinning Zimmerman down when Zimmerman shot him.
We'll have to wait and see.

Martin's side of the story being the huge exception.

If he stays in his car, no blood, no dead kid.

I know that when I stay in the car and don't go looking for trouble, I am usually fine...even the way I drive.

Any word on when the trial starts? It'll suck if it's during football season and the TV stations break away from the games to show the riots.

Or the kid goes into a house and robs them and kills them.

Wow, good thing Zimmerman killed this kid. He should kill a kid a day until the murder rate is next to nothing.

Damn! Kid goes out to buy a pop and some candy and winds up dead. Where do you get this robbery murder angle? All black kids are potential thieves and murderers? You and Zimmerman appear to think alike.
