18 months of investigation and Holder not giving up the documents the congress committee asked for...this could have been over months and months ago. You can't peg this as an election year which hunt...and a lot of demos voted for contempt so it isn't partisan.

You didn't ask a question, you made a statement, which was shown to be demonstrably wrong. Could you provide a simialr circumstance where Dems concocted such witchhunt screams to high heaven happened?

I actually provided you with two separate polls, both of which showed that the country was on balance siding with the Republicans rather than the Democrats on this issue. Indeed the second poll showed that 61% of independents believed that Obama had inappropriately invoked executive privilege to withhold relevant documents from Congress. The polls I cited directly rebutted your statement that this dispute was going to be a political liability for Republicans.

Holder could have taken care of this last year by giving the documents they asked for in a none redacted form (most pages were fully redacted). Congress has oversight and Holder is stonewalling congress.
Deal with the facts.

The facts you want to dodge are that Holder appeared 9 times and provided 7600 pages of documents. Holder has NOT been stonewalling anyone. Issa and Boehner both admitted there is NO, NONE, NADA evidence in any shape or form against Holder or Obama to support this nation-embarrassing contempt charge. The facts are that this is a thinly-veiled partisan election year witch hunt intended to defame Holder directly and damage Obama indirectly. Those are the facts. Deal with it.

Yes he did give a lot of heavly redacted documents and a lot of testimony that you would describe as him ducking, dodging, and deflecting.
