She seemed to have a pretty bright future at NU. I wish her well.
I really hate Penn State! (And I'm not that wild about Iowa either.)

Too bad. It seems odd these Nebraska kids are bailing out. You wonder what happened.

I will be glad when the daughter graduates this year.

“Lauren is a great kid and she works really hard,” John Cook said. “We’re sad that it isn’t going to work out for her at Nebraska, but she has a great opportunity to make a major impact in the Wayne State program.”Lauren Cook could end up being the only true setter in the program this season.

Is she Tom Sieckmann's daughter? (The former professional golfer) I went to school with him at Millard
"One of the few things I know...is this: spend it all, shoot it, play it, lose it, all, right away, every time. Do not hoard what seems good for [later]; give it all, give it now.... Something more will arise for later.... Anything you do not give freely and abundantly becomes lost to you. You open your safe and find ashes."--Annie Dillard

"“I appreciate the time I have had at Nebraska and the opportunity to attend the University and compete during the spring season,” Sieckmann said in a release. “I want to switch my focus from being a setter to being a hitter and I think this is a great opportunity for me. I look forward to using what I have gained here as I move forward in my future collegiate endeavors.”

Enough said. Apparently, she believes she will have much more playing time at Wayne St.
