They have been far more solid than LSU. They have hit the snot out of the ball and should have more runs.

if Kent can make the CWS it should be a sign to all Big 10 teams that it can be done

And Oregon!!! Maybe NU should give up baseball for a few years and be reborn. How can Kent, Stony and Oregon do so well and Neb be so crappy??

Left me hanging there...
Oregon comes from behind to defeat Kent St., 3-2. Rubber game on Monday, winner advances to CWS.

Interesting fact on Stony Brook Heard last night during the game on TV
Their TOTAL HOME attendnace for the year was somwhere in the neighborhood of 5,600 people!
IN their first game in Omaha they will play in front of over THREE TIMES that many people. Wounder how this team will react to being on the CWS stage? They seemed to handle the Miami and LSU stage just fine.
... and from the Stony Brook web site. The game against LSU on SUnday was in front of 10,620. They state that it is LSU's largest in th ehistroy of LSU baseball.

I'm pretty sure the attendance was more than that every game LSU has played in Omaha. More like 15K each game I'm thinking.

The last chance for the B12 to have a representative in Omaha rides with Baylor who is tied with Arkansas in the bottom of the 5th at 0-0.

Kent St almost repeated their choke from last night as they gave up two runs in the top of the 8th before scoring a run in the bottom of the 9th to win 3-2 and earn their trip to Omaha.
