    Jalen James decommits from Illinois

    James, a 6-foot-3 point guard at La Lumiere in Indiana, originally committed to former Illinois coach Bruce Weber in June of 2011, and he reaffirmed his commitment to the Illini after Weber was fired and replaced by John Groce.

    Mullins said he has already received phone calls from Florida State, Marquette, Nebraska, SMU and Tennessee regarding James.
