I don't follow baseball much during the offseason. Did the Dodgers make any high-power acquisitions or coaching changes that are paying off for them right now? Or has this strong start just been the side effect of not being owned by Frank McCourt anymore.

They are now feeling the stress of not having Kemp in the lineup. He struggled a little, coming back. Now that he is gone, once more, they are declining rapidly. Aw, shucks, tooooooooooooooo bad!

I don't wish Kemp any harm, for that is a terrible way to think, but I AM happy, the Dodgers are doing badly. Just 3 games out of 1st place, I am excited for my Giants. Still, all in all, we need better hitting, for sure.

Sadly, Lincecum is a pariah, instead of the hero!!! As Cliff Lee, he fails to be the same, old Cy Young winner of the past!

If it weren't for Lincecum (thank you for the past), we would be right there, if not in 1st place. Of course, we are on a 3-game losing streak!!

I noticed the Dodgers are back in town the week before my birthday in September... thinking about flying out that way and catching a game or two, if things are still tight by then
