It does seem like Spain has been fairly content with just a 1 goal lead, and aren't really pressing too hard for that second goal. Maybe that comes back to bite them in the 2nd half.
Im pretty late in this conversation and have only watched the Germany games live, and they look really good. They need to work on some small details. It almost looked like they could score at will against the Netherlands in the first half. I really liked Gomez's reaction after his second goal. He almost looked arrogant. As if we can do this all day. The second half was a slightly different story. So who are your favorites at this point? I still have Germany and Spain. The obvious choices.
Which game to watch online this afternoon? I don't really feel like switching back and forth between ESPN3 feeds, unless one becomes a blowout. I think I'll go with the Czech Republic/Poland match. Greece hasn't looked like a side that can compete for 90 minutes, so I'll take what seems to be the more interesting matchup. Essentially it's a winner moves on, loser goes home game for Czech Repulic/Poland. Also, I don't CR can assume a draw will be good enough to move on, can they?

Czech could have moved on in a draw only if Greece beat Russia by 6 or more goals. Wikipedia has good summaries of each group mathematics.
