For ALL of you that have served our country, and for all of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice I thank you.
Thank you ...this day is for those who gave all
You did not desert me my bothers in arms.
I hoep one day each and everyone of you returns home to be put to rest so you may rest in peace. I will not rest until that day comes.
I only gave some...you gave all
For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind.
You did not desert me my bothers in arms.
I hoep one day each and everyone of you returns home to be put to rest so you may rest in peace. I will not rest until that day comes.
Went to a Memorial Day tribute at a local cemetary today. Very nicely done with bagpiper walking through the graves, a Taps echo with multiple trumpets at different locations, and a winds quintet that played American patriotic classics. Nice to see vets from all the conflicts since WW2. Thanks so much to those that served and to those that made the ultimate sacrifice.

Always remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- (Thomas Jefferson)
“Make yourselves sheep and the wolves will eat you.” -- (Benjamin Franklin)
A photo I took a couple of years ago at Arlington National Cemetery... appropriate for today. Never forget those that have sacrificed - especially those that have made the ultimate sacrifice - so that we may be free.
I was in Europe on business about 12 years ago and used one of my weekends to go to the Loraine Cemetery near Saint Avold. The size of the cemetery was unreal and to look out over the headstones to the monument underscores the signifiance of what was given.

My uncle Clifford is buried near a beach in Italy. He fought as a commando for the British in WWII. Before his death, he met up with his brother in London and told him he would be hearing a lot about his CO after the war: Commander Fleming. I have always wondered if his CO was Commander Ian Fleming.
