New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco said he was "not trippin' " about losing his wallet, credit cards, license and iPod when someone broke into his SUV Wednesday, but was inconsolable about his Starbucks gold card being stolen as well.
"I earned the gold card," Ochocinco said in a two-minute video posted to his Twitter account discussing his ordeal. "You know how many coffees I've had to drink and lemon loafs I've had to purchase to get to that gold card? I had $220 left on my Starbucks card. Not just any Starbucks card, but a gold Starbucks card."
anyone use the gold card?

My wife has one...you can buy them if you want. Just preload it with all those drinks and lemon loafs you are going to buy.

LOL...my wife is going to live forever thanks to her coffee habit. She has a Starbuck Gold card but only uses it now when traveling. At home she creates her own blend of coffee imported by friends from Columbia and Honduras. I don't drink the stuff.

That's pretty funny... lost all that stuff and he's more concerned about the Starbucks card. If it were anybody other than Ochocinco I might have thought this article was reprinted from The Onion.
If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.

I have my Keurig and love my coffee, but whether it be Starbucks or Coffee Bean(love the counter people with tats and eye popping piercings) enjoy sitting and enjoying my coffee. My wife gets a grande sugar free vanilla soy latte with 2 shots. For the first 10 orders I had to save that whole order in my text on the phone so I wouldn't screw it up when I order.
Do get a lot of free stuff with that card and it discounts a lot of the extra stuff.

My wife gets free stuff all the time...after June (her family is here for a few days and than my family rolls into town for 2 and half weeks) we are going on a intense diet which will mean she is cutting out Starbucks.

Generally, the only time I'll go to a Starbucks is if I'm in an airport. Won't be catching Ochocinco for a while...

Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” - Gamalie the Pharisee - Addressing the Sanhedrin regarding the new group called Christians

I'm not shocked to learn that if you buy enough $5 coffees you occasionally get a free scone. 'There's one born every minute.'
