When I was in high school the rivalry between Millard North and Millard West was just as fierce as Nebraska-Oklahoma. Everything the Mustangs were good at, the Wildcats were too - even outside of football. Even in marching band we were fiercely competitive. There was nothing I loved more than trouncing MW on a Friday night and then beating them in a marching competition on Saturday morning...

...and then going home and watching Husker football!

I was always disappointed that UNMC didn't have a mascot or colors. I am pretty sure my suggested mascot and colors would have not been accepted. But just think of the hats that they could sell.
