FRICK....how did he catch that?? I knew this was going to happen, i'd get my hopes up only to be heartbroken. man what a comeback by the huskers. hopefully this will give them some momentum going into the next game.
a game of inches, indeed!

Not sure about that -- unless you're talking about before the game started. Otherwise, MSU almost lost a game they had a stranglehold on -- it would have been a tremendous choke job (and not a game the Huskers should have won).
Watching the PSU-OSU game and the announcers are talking about what the MSU coach said to the media after the game. He said that one of the reasons they took their starter out was to give some of the pitchers a chance that might not have gotten a chance if they kept winning. In other words... we weren't facing their top stuff in the 9th inning during our comeback. Made it sound like these were the worst of the worst in their bullpen.

I believe that. Pretty typical when you have a big lead to put your worst pitchers out there and save the arms of the better ones. It nearly bit 'em in the butt -- but it worked out in the end.
Dang, what a comeback only to fall just a few inches short. Hats off to the HUSKERS who gave it all they had and almost pulled off the incredible comeback. Hopefully they can get back on the winning track tomorrow.

......or they go home.
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!
