OLB/DE/TE Victor Egu offered as a TE by the Huskers
From a teaser on Rivals:
He's listed as a linebacker by Rivals, Nebraska coach Rich Fisher offered Victor Egu of Concord, Calif., as a tight end
.
Primary position has been OLB but has played both DE & TE....coaching staff must see something to make the offer as a TE....position of real need as we know....will take 2 and could take 3 in this class...including more than likely a JUCO recruit....
Second LB we have offered this class as an offensive player and he has the height and weight to be a TE.....and we are the ONLY school offering him as a TE and not as a OLB.....some pretty good offers on the books....his school is one of the power-house schools in California (Oakland area)....
As a 2011 junior at Concord (Calif.) De La Salle, Egu started at linebacker for the Spartans and helped them to their 20th straight CIF-NCS title and third straight CIF State Open Division title.

Nice write-up on him here from an April 18 blog entry:
Victor Egu LB, De La Salle (Concord, CA). Victor Egu is a little raw, but he's an athlete... playing linebacker, defensive end and tight end for the Spartans last season. Several Pac-12 schools have already taken notice of Egu's talent too; as Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon and UW have all offered him. Egu took a visit over to Cal last week and then took a visit up to Seattle to see UW over the weekend, where he was offered by the Huskies. He'll be back at Berkeley this weekend for Junior Day, and I wouldn't be suprised if an offer followed. Egu is a physical freak, with speed, range and length that would make him a savage rush backer. Definitely keep an eye on De La Salle's defense this fall!

Really nice article from 10 May, 2012.....
Some highlights:
"I am still relatively new when it comes to the game of football," said Egu. "I have only been playing football for three years now and I wish I had been playing the game for much longer. I really love playing the game and I think the more time I spend with it the more I become a much better player."
"I have been receiving good attention from schools on the west coast but I am hoping I gain more interest from schools outside of my region. I have already taken unofficial visits to Washington and Stanford and I am looking to set up more visits for the month of June. I am unsure as to whom I will see but I plan to make multiple visits this summer and get a better chance to see what all the schools recruiting me have to offer."
Egu is open minded right now when it comes to any favorites or any schools standing out. He is going through the college recruiting process for the first time and he is still unsure as to how the whole process works. Egu is wanting to take his time when it comes to choosing his future college and do as much research on the schools recruiting him before he makes his commitment
