Father of 30 Wants a Break on Child Support

    Wow.

A man who fathered 30- yes that’s thirty- children by the age of 33 feels that the child support he pays is too much of a burden and has implored the state of Tennessee to reduce his obligation.

Born a Nebraskan, raised a Nebraskan, will die a Nebraskan!! Go Big Red!

Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” - Gamalie the Pharisee - Addressing the Sanhedrin regarding the new group called Christians

I'm sure he was fine with 29. 30 is too much for him. He might want to get a bunch of part time jobs to work when he should be sleeping. There are 24 hours in a day buddy! You should be working at least 1/2 of them.

In fact, some of Hatchett’s brood of thirty are contributed to by their father just $1.49 a month.

Don't know what's worse (or more sad)...only being required to support your kids with a measly buck-49 or not being able to support your kids with a measly buck-49.

If this is true, I have a question: why do women keep having sex with him, getting pregnant, and having children? Seems like they bear some responsibility too. As does a system that make this behavior financial bearable for them.

    30 kids?

    http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/man-fathered-30-kids-needs-break-child-support-140439765.html

And you thought Octomom had her hands full—a Tennessee man who has fathered 30 children is asking the courts for a break on child support.
Desmond Hatchett, 33, of Knoxville has children with 11 different women, reports WREG-TV.
And the oldest is only 14. So since the age of 19 this clown has fathered 2 kids a year on average. He needs to be snipped and these bimbos need to be spayed as well. That's practically a village of welfare dependents this clown and these women are responsible for.

He should be incarcerated and forced to pick up trash or peform some other public service until the last of his kids are 18.

National Lampoon put out an album years ago, Orson Welles narrated: "The Begatting Of The President." It was American politics made to sound like Scripture. The line about Bobby Kennedy applies here: "And he was fruitful and did multiply--beyond all human understanding."

He only has 24 kids -- not 30.

    All is well.

A judge tells HLN that previous reports of the man with 30 kids requesting child support help are not true.

This week national and local media outlets have been reporting that Tennessee resident Desmond Hatchett had 30 kids and requested the court to reduce his child support payments. The judge handling the custody cases, Stan Briggs, tells HLN that Hatchett has 24 legal children, and that there are no pending hearings about child support payments at this time. The reason? He’s been incarcerated since December 2009 — and doesn’t get out until 2014.

“The cases are not proceeding at this time because he is incarcerated,” Briggs says. “We are not enforcing any child support while he is incarcerated. Once he is released, then we will set the child support and enforce the child support. I have had to incarcerate him in the past for non-payment.”
