A REAL position of need. Critical almost. More of a replacement for Kyler Reed than Ben Cotton. Now we need to get a Ben Cotton type TE.

Yes Sir....on both counts....and I would not be surprised to see us pick up 2 HS and 1 JUCO TE....that is how badly we need help at the position...

Had a knee injury as a Soph but fully healed now....as his Jr highlights show....

The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder — a three-star target according to 247Sports — will be the guy, he said, who replaces Nebraska senior Kyler Reed. He visited over the weekend.

The JUCO TE we have offered and gone after is Beau Sanland....out of Pearce CC in California....he has a buttload of offers from alot of top schools....he plans to visit Nebraska and we have a decent shot at him....I think because he knows we have a real need...Coach Garrison and GA Marrow (can recruit while Barney Cotton is out from shoulder surgery) are recruiting him....

He is 6'5" 250 lbs and has some real giddy-up for such a big TE with a 4.6 forty.....he is a California kid who grew up in the Simi Valley.... Beau Sandland
