Nate's weekly recruiting update on USC....


---Talked about the Huskers offering Davante Kincade QB recruit from Texas who was the Elite 11 MVP at the Dallas Camp.....out of Skyline High School a traditonal football 5A powerhouse....thinks his size may have scared schools away....(I've seen him listed anywhere between 6' and 6'2" by three different recruiting services and 175-180 lbs)....conceerns if he could make all of the throws...a very athletic kid.....not only made all of the throws, but won the MVP Award....Coach Beck visited him last week....saw all he needed to see to offer him a scholarship....

---Discussed Damion Hobbs also a Texas recruit.....right now they are recruiting him as a QB however, played WR as a Soph.....really comfertable with the ball in his hands.....

---Would not be surprised if we took two QBs in this class.....main commit will be a true QB and take a second guy who is an athlete and give him a shot at QB however, if it does not work out will fit in as a WR....

---Spoke about 2014 CB recruit Chris Hardeman from Houston (Huskers with quite a few 2014 offers out already)....9 offers already....smaller DB, but has all the tools to be an elite player.....Coach K is evaluating him this week and the staff is very impressed with what they saw.....

---Some positions its easier to find top level talent than others....

---Spoke about the Aaron Green situation (in general) how some kids are coming from schools and areas where they were the 'man' and some are better able to understand what their role will be at a school like Nebraska and earn their playing time and others are used to being a star.....and have a hard time doing that....Aaron was frustrated by the lack of opportunity HE FELT he deserved....some schools will use this situation and try to negative recruit against Nebraska....kids can for the most part see through that....talking bad about another school (i.e. Nebraska) they are grasping and trying what ever they can to get a commit from that kid....so it does not always payoff to talk bad about another school.....
