Love Boyd, to bad he plays for Dortmund but they are very high on him. Like I mentioned to you earlier RR, he is not likely to get a lot of playing time their though as they are loaded with young talent

Are there reasons why Lichaj and Ream aren't invited, like injuries? And are people really upset about Beasley and Kljesten? Please. Lichaj and Ream, I could understand. Shea has potential, but I'm not a huge fan of his. He came up with zilch in the Olympic qualifing, so why should we expect him to be ready for the full national team? He's 22, and the WC is still a year off, so he can come around, but right now, his stature is built on potential, and not results in the international game.

No injuries to either....both were starting in the EPL......Kljesten and Beasley both had great seasons....Sascha's team won the league title in Europe...his game went up a notch this year...most folk felt he deserved the call-up......

Shea has won me over...was not a big fan of us his to start with....still some maturity issues though....

Calling in Castillio who has been horrible at the USMNT over Lichaj is baffling in my opinion....

I'm disappointed in Lichaj not getting a call up. I really like his play in defense, but his stats only say he played in 9 games this season for AV, so maybe there's something going on with him? He's got the talent, but maybe he would be better served getting out of the EPL, and into a league that isn't afraid to play American's on a regular basis. Same thing with Ream. His stas on wiki say he played in just 4 games this year with Bolton. That's terrible for these guys.

He played ten games because he had an injury that kept him out much of the season (first and middle part)....actually he is entrenched as a starter at Villa now....and is highly thought of...new coach coming in of course....

Ream was transfered at mid-season to Bolton and actually played 13 games for them in the EPL and 1 FA Cup game and at season's end was one of their better players...it was a good move for him in my opinion as I thought he had stagnated with the Redbull....
